The 2026 Pottawatomie County Free Fair will be held in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition
Center from September 9-12, 2026.

2026 Children's Coloring Contest!
*Not available quite yet, but we'll get them posted when they are!*

*Remember that the Theme this year is "Barn in the USA"
Coloring Sheets will be entered on Wednesday 3:00-6:00 pm. Entries will be taken in the FFA Dept. Color Sheets may be decorated with colored pencils, markers or crayons.

County Best of Beef Show
The Pottawatomie County Cattlemen's Association is proud to present the County Best of Beef Show at the Pottawatomie County Free Fair,
Friday September 11, 2026 immediately following the Free Fair Beef Show. Rules to be posted soon!! The deadline to enter is Friday
August, 28 2026 at 5pm. Cash prize up to $500.00 and banners for grand heifer, steer, and prospect steer will be awarded. Animals
must have been born from a dam within Pottawatomie County.
Exhibitor must be a relative of a PCCA member by entry deadline.
Animals will be shown by weight with date of birth provided to the judge for all breeds except commercial.
This show replaces the PCJLS Best of Beef.

Old Old Bucket Contest at the Awards Assembly
Adding to the fun this year, a $100 cash prize will be awarded to the oldest Pott County Fair bucket brought
to the Awards Assembly. We still need to be able to clearly read the date, and the bucket must be able
to still hold water. If there is a tie, prize money will be split.

2026 Junior Fair Board Application
The Pottawatomie County Junior Fair Board is intended to identify the next generation of Fair
volunteers and leaders. The Junior Fair Board will be made up of six students, two from each of the three County Commissioner
districts. Applicants must be in at least the 8th grade. Application due by Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the fair office.
