2022 Children's Coloring Contest
4 to 5 Years Old ~ 6 to 8 Years Old ~ 9 to 11 Years Old

Coloring Sheets will be entered on Wednesday 3:00-6:00 pm. Entries will be taken in the FFA Dept. Color Sheets may be decorated with colored pencils, markers or crayons.


2022 Junior Fair Board Application

The Pottawatomie County Junior Fair Board is intended to identify the next generation of Fair volunteers and leaders. The Junior Fair Board will be made up of six students, two from each of the three County Commissioner districts. Applicants must be in at least the 8th grade. Application due by September 7th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the fair office. Questions can be directed to futurefairboard@gmail.com

We will kick off Wednesday evening of the fair with fun competitions between 4-H and FFA students in the Fred Humphreys Building, along with dinner for competitiors and a safety demonstration.

A crowd favorite of the fair, kids up to 8 years old will be on a pedal tractor course and kids 9-13 will get to drive a lawn mower through an even bigger course!

Karaoke Singing Contest

Bring your friends and your best Garth or Reba impersonation, and wow the judges once you pick up the mic!

Kiwanis Kids' Day
10:00 Saturday, Krausse Arena


Kiwanis Kids' Day Rules

Join kids from all over the county for the Kiwanis Kids' Day! Contests will include stick horse racing, bubble blowing, the broad jump, and be sure to bring a box turtle for the turtle races!

4-H and FFA Livestock Judging
Noon Saturday, Krausse Arena


Livestock Judging Rules

Join 4-H and FFA students as they sort the culls from the keepers, determining which animals (and judges) in the contest are the best.

Ann Gilbert Memorial Award

Guidelines and Past Recipients

The Ann Gilbert Memorial Award is an award for the Pottawatomie County Fair. An Award given to an outstanding youth exhibitor in memory of Ann "Sis" Gilbert, a longtime supporter of the fair and the youth of Pottawatomie County.

4-H Youth will be showcasing their favorite woolen clothing and their knowledge of both wool and sheep at 2:00 Saturday afternoon at the Awards Assembly Stage. Don't have a lamb? You can borrow one!

Texting Contest Rules
